Bass for Days

I’m on day two of working on this bass line, but sometimes I have to let things simmer for a while to know if it’s right. The Moog Sub37 is working its way back into my workflow, and it’s nice having the ability to automate every parameter as if it was a plugin (thanks to the software editor).

Three oscillators give a nice thick sound, with a slight nod of the filter envelope to provide some movement and attack to the tone. Arturia’s Dimension D Chorus adds a bit of thickness and stereo image. Finally, I added some slap Jay-Bass to add a little pop to the groove.
